This isn’t meant to be a quick task… but thinking through when you’re going to complete everything makes life SO much simpler going forward. The more you can eliminate the choices you have to make each day / week / month, the easier it is to just crack on with the tasks at hand…
Start by brain dumping any tasks that happen monthly:

Monthly reviews of your business: sales targets, social media stats etc.

Team (or individual) check in and performance review

Anything seasonal you may need to consider e.g. (bank) holidays that are happening
Likewise, is there anything that happens monthly in your personal life?
You may want to factor in…

Friends or family that you see less frequently but would like to book in a longer catch up

Do you like to have a day where you do a deep clean / get on top of your life admin

If you have a menstrual cycle then you may wish to factor that into your planning e.g. slower weeks during menstruation and utilising your creative energy during ovulation
Blocking out time
Using your daily and weekly schedules to help you, block out time for important tasks…

Have you got time off booked in the diary? E.g. bank holidays or trips away?

Does your monthly overview look like a good mix of business and relaxation?

Do you need to put more in some months that others? E.g. is Christmas quiet for you or is it your busiest season?
Reward yourself!
If you’ve smashed your goals this month, faced up to a challenge or done something scary then please make sure you reward yourself. Here’s a couple of suggestions…

Buy something new for your workspace that will spark joy every day

Invest in something for your personal growth, e.g. a training, gym membership or class

Treat yourself to something lovely from a fellow small business owner (spread the love!)
