❄️ Need a moment of calm before the hurly burly of the Christmas season?
🩵 Join us for a hygge winter social to relax, unwind and get to know lots of lovely locals living in Manchester. You’re more than welcome to come with friends, but most people come to our events by themselves so you’ll be in good company if you do!
💆🏻 At this event, we’re very lucky to have Jay from JKR Massage who offers an at home massage service! He’s kindly agreed to showcase a little of what he offers with some in-chair massages (completely optional, of course!) just for a little extra pampering and wellbeing time for you at the event.
🍀 One lucky attendee will also have the chance to win a FREE 60 minute massage with him and you definitely don’t want to miss out on that.
🍷 This event will be hosted in Sante’s stunning function room – complete with candles, cosiness and… the start of mulled wine season!
🃏 We’ll start with our famous hygge conversation cards to get everyone chatting and help you connect with fellow attendees. They’re the perfect way to open up interesting topics and make sure you can relax right at the start of the event.
🎲 We’ll also have our games station set up, complete with family favourites like Uno through to more risqué options like Cards Against Humanity. You’re welcome to play as a group, or you can split off into teams for a few rounds and then come back to join everyone – it’s entirely up to you!
🧐 There will be a winter / festive themed quiz to enjoy and, most importantly of all, the chance to get to know lots of wonderful locals. Cosy clothing is very much encouraged and if you want to bring slippers… hey, we won’t judge you!
🛍️ The Didsbury Wardrobe will have a pop up of all those essential seasonal accessories for you to browse! Founded locally, this is an amazing initiative to promote more sustainable fashion choices (especially helpful through party season!) where you rent incredible designer clothing, rather than buying lots of new things!
📚 We will also have a ‘lucky dip’ of books as a little extra treat for you to curl up with through this winter season. Nothing quite says ‘November’ like a good book and a brew!
🎫 We are not able to refund tickets the seven days leading up to the event; but will try to do so prior to this. If you contact us within 48 hours of the event, we will offer you the option to transfer the ticket to another event.
Who’s welcome?
Everyone! You are very welcome by yourself (most people are!) or if you’d like to bring someone along that’s absolutely fine too.
