As the nights draw in and the fairy lights flicker along Burton Road in Didsbury, we’re delighted to invite you to join us as we wrap up 2025 with a flourish of connection, creativity and festive cheer. Whether you’re looking to mingle, reflect, write, or simply belong – there’s something for you.
4 December – Small Business Christmas Party
We begin our festive finale on Thursday 4 December with our Small Business Christmas Party. It’s the perfect chance for local freelancers, small business owners, creative professionals and community-minded entrepreneurs to catch up, celebrate your wins and unwind in good company. Expect relaxed conversation, festive drinks (and non-alcoholic options), and the chance to toast to all we’ve achieved together this past year.
5 December – Singles Christmas Party
Next up, on Friday 5 December, we host our Singles Christmas Party. Designed to be fun, friendly and low pressure, it’s an ideal way to meet new people in a welcoming local setting. Whether you’re hoping for a spark, a new friend, or simply an enjoyable evening out – come as you are. Conversation-starters, relaxed games and warm community vibes await.
11 December – Book Swap Social
On Thursday 11 December we switch gears and stir in a little literary magic with our Book Swap Social. Bring along a book you’ve loved (and are ready to part ways with) and swap it for someone else’s treasure. Along the way we’ll share story-inspired conversation, sip warm drinks, maybe add a sweet treat, and discover the next read that might just surprise us. A lovely way to blend local community, ideas and the season of giving.
16 December – Creative Writing Class
Then, on Tuesday 16 December, we invite you to our Creative Writing Class – an inspiring space to reflect, write, explore your voice and connect with fellow word-lovers. Whether you’re a seasoned scribbler or simply curious about creative writing, this session offers prompts, gentle facilitation and a warm room to think, write and share if you choose. Perfect for winding down the year and opening up the possibilities for 2026.
21 December – Winter Solstice Vision Boarding
Finally, on Saturday 21 December we mark the Winter Solstice with a Vision Boarding morning. As we approach the longest night of the year and begin our turn toward brighter days, join us to reflect on the past twelve months, dream ahead, create your intentions, and connect with the energy of renewal. It’s creative, calming and hopeful – great company in a supportive local space.
