What does Reserve Wines offer to customers?
We are a small bunch of wine enthusiasts on a mission to help break down barriers, opening up the fantastic world of wine to people by championing bottles of all budgets and corners of the globe that:

We’re proud to offer luxury wines by the glass from our new keg programme at our market sites and Didsbury store as part of our eco-friendly approach. Here at Reserve, we are committed to working with partners and suppliers from wineries striving to improve sustainability within the business through forward-thinking initiatives.
Who founded the company?
Reserve Wines was born out of an intimidating visit to a local wine shop – who hasn’t experienced that!? Determined to create a friendly and inspiring community around wine, Reserve Wines founder Kate Goodman, opened her first shop in leafy West Didsbury in 2003.
“Navigating the world of wine is not always easy. That’s why I started Reserve back in 2003, after a scary visit to a local bottle shop.
Fast forward 20 years and I’m so pleased with our recent makeover to our flagship store on Burton Road. If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to come and explore our brand-new tasting room fit for tasting evenings and experiences. It’s also available to hire for bespoke events, business meetings, celebrations and everything else in between.”
We’ve got some exciting plans coming up in autumn for our 20-year anniversary, where we’ll be celebrating providing high quality wines to our loyal customers for two decades!
Is someone who knows very little about wine welcome to browse?
Absolutely, we’re here to give our customers a great time. Whether you know your Malbec from your Merlot, or want to let our friendly wine advisors do the legwork for you, we’re in our happy place helping someone find the perfect bottle.
From team favourites to bold, unexpected choices, we’re always here to try and surprise and delight our customers, creating memorable experiences exploring wine. We have a brand-new space with wine flights, tasting room, wines on tap and private tastings to help do just that!
What events do you have coming up?
We’ve quite the line up! Every month, we host regular wine tastings at each of our sites delivered by a really passionate team. From partnering with master sommeliers to collaborating with local foodie friends, there’s something for everyone.
