📅 Saturday 1st November, 11am – 1pm at Sante (M20 2LW)
✍️ Join us in Sante’s stunning function room for a fun creative writing class at the end of October half term.
💡 This class is designed to help warm students creative talents up again, ready for a fresh start back.
✨ We’ll be exploring everything from characterisation to world building in stories. Spelling and grammar won’t be a focus of this workshop – it’s much more about creativity and free flow writing.
📒 A notebook, stationary and everything that’s needed for the class will be provided. However, if your child would like to bring anything along then they’re very welcome to.
🤓 This class is primarily for students in Key Stage 2 (age 7 -11) but may suitable for children just outside of that bracket.

👩🏫 The class teacher is Jo – an experienced Literacy Specialist who has worked at local schools (including Didsbury High) and as a private tutor.
🤗 Due to Jo’s background, she will use dyslexia friendly strategies as this makes the class more inclusive for everyone – but please do get in touch if you have any concerns or questions.
🏷️ She is, of course, DBS checked and you are also welcome to stay for the class if you would like to.
🥐 The class will be held in the upstairs function room and, if you’d like to stay, you’re welcome to grab a coffee or some food at Sante downstairs.
🚃 As you may know, parking in Didsbury can be a challenge so we’d encourage walking or using public transport where possible.
👏 It’s kinder on the planet and frees up space for those with no option but to drive.
🚌 There is a bus stop just outside the venue and Burton Road tram stop is just a 5 / 10 minute walk away.

🎫 We are not able to refund tickets the seven days leading up to the event; but will try to do so prior to this. If you contact us within 48 hours of the event, we will offer you the option to transfer the ticket to another event.
