November Networking: see you there!

I’m very excited for our next networking event in November – if you’d like to join then grab your ticket HERE. The event is being held at the wonderful George Charles (M20 2LW) on Thursday 10th November from 7-9pm. It will be a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and network with others who own businesses in the local area.

You’ll come away from the event having connected with people through social media and / or shared business cards to enable you to keep in touch. I’ll be hosting a quiz to test your local knowledge and help you get to know more about businesses in the area. And, of course, you will get your own Burton Road goodie bag to take away. There are also two fantastic guest speakers attending.

Clare from Pura Vida Coaching will be sharing more details of her own entrepreneurial journey, including her work as a coach for government funded programmes. She’ll also be filling us in on what business support is available to businesses in Greater Manchester!

I’m also very excited to be hosting Naomi from Social by Nao – a brilliant social media manager and virtual assistant. She’ll be sharing some top tips for marketing your business and staying consistent across social media channels. Make sure you don’t miss out.

Last, but by no means least, this is the event where I’ll be sharing all the information about Burton Road Business Network Membership for 2023. Be the first to know about the calendar of events taking place next year!

FAQ’s:

Do I have to own a business on Burton Road?

No!

Businesses, charities and projects come from all over Manchester. The events are hosted along Burton Road but if you’re a Mancunian business owner you’re more than welcome. Members also include those who run businesses in London / other cities but live locally.

Can I bring someone along?

Yes, of course.

If you would like to buy multiple tickets for team members, please do so. I try to keep the events a manageable size to enable everyone to meet and connect, so I’d advise trying not to buy more than five tickets where possible though.

What if I haven’t fully launched my business yet?

You’re more than welcome.

If you’ve got an idea for a business or are looking to launch a project then this is a great space for you. The network is made up of lots of smaller businesses and some great entrepreneurial minds, so this is a fantastic space for inspiration.

May I come for part of the event?

Ideally, come for the whole thing.

However, it’s much better you come along for 60 or 90 minutes than not at all. I’ll always do my best to facilitate introductions so if you’d like to come but will arrive a little late, or need to leave early – that’s no problem.
