How did you develop your skills in this area
After spending over a decade in the corporate world, we reached a point where the daily grind left us feeling drained and unfulfilled. The stress of navigating the corporate landscape pushed us to make a bold decision a few years back – we decided to venture out on our own and open our bookkeeping practice. Our mission? To support smaller businesses in getting a grip on their finances and finding clarity in their numbers.
What we discovered was eye-opening. It wasn’t just about meeting compliance deadlines; many businesses struggled to truly understand the story behind their numbers. That’s where we step in, offering not just bookkeeping services, but a guiding hand to decode the financial language and empower business owners to make informed decisions.
What would you most like people to know about what you do?
We’re two sisters running a small bookkeeping and accountancy practice, and we’ve got a story to share. Born and raised in Poland, we’ve called Manchester home for the past 20 years. We are licensed members of the Association of Accounting Technicians, bringing a blend of professional expertise and personal touch to our family-run business.

Are there any top tips you’d give to business owners?
In our view, maintaining consistency in your business operations is key, and focusing on profit rather than just revenue is crucial. Simply having a high revenue or a healthy bank balance doesn’t always equate to profitability. We aim to help small business owners grasp this concept and truly understand their financial standing.
