What does Social By Nao offer?

Social By Nao is here to support business owners with their social media woes – whether they sit in the camp of having absolutely no time and needing to hand it over, or just need some support to be able to continue working on it themselves, there’s something for everyone.

Why do you love working with business owners?

As a business owner myself, I know there are 101 things on an entrepreneur’s to do list. You have to make SO many decisions every single day and it can get exhausting. That doesn’t always leave much creative brain power for content creation – and the majority of business owners didn’t set up their business to become a full-time marketer… But I literally did! 

It’s really rewarding being able to take that mental load off people and give them the brain space back to work on the parts of the business they love most / are best at.

Every business I work with is different, too. It’s really fun feeling like part of the team in so many businesses and I get so invested in everyone’s success. 


How do you help people grow?

Everywhere you look online, the advice for growth on social media is “consistency.” But one thing you can depend on is life NOT being consistent. Things happen, plans change and with the greatest will in the world keeping a consistent presence on social media falls to the bottom of the to do list…

When my clients take me on to manage their social media that’s one of the biggest changes. Whatever is going on for them, I’m there keeping things consistent. Which means while they’re doing the school drop-off or busy providing their wonderful service, they’re still getting eyes on their business and new followers coming into their world.

(I do want to add a disclaimer here though – not everyone wants to hugely grow on socials. It totally depends on what my clients’ goals are. A social media manager should never promise a certain level of growth in my opinion – I’m there to take the pressure off but there are SO many factors at play which impact client results).


What would you most like people to know about your business?

The Social By Nao values. That might sound a little cheesy but the values of the business are what matter most to me.

Care and attention: All my 1:1 services provide a bespoke service to suit each client. Every business is one-of-a-kind, so needs (and deserves) to be treated as such.

Encouragement: Cheerleading is absolutely part of my job description. The uphill battle of social media can knock business owners’ confidence – especially if they’re a one-man team – it’s easy to think you’re the only one finding things difficult. My tagline for this value is “borrow my belief in you whenever you need a boost.”

Transparency: I show my pricing up front and pride myself in honest, human communication at every point in the client journey. My clients can turn up to work as their full selves – I know running a business isn’t all shiny highlights so if you need to show up to a call with your dog on your knee, with piles of washing in the background or in your PJs, no judgement here.
