Welcome to Burton Road! This is the heart of Manchester’s independent business district – with start-ups springing up all around. It is an innovative community, connecting the Didsbury and Withington areas. We are perhaps most famous for our incredible variety of bars and restaurants, but also boast independent boutiques, a chocolatier, games café and much more!

The Street has grown rapidly over the last decade and we have no doubt that the next decade holds more adventures to come. One of the oldest attractions is our mock Tudor pub – which used to be an inn for coaches to change horses. Each new addition brings something unique and adds to the character of Burton Road. 

The lack of chains from which to get a coffee is noticeable – instead, you can take your pick of independent, family run businesses.
