💕 This event is for anyone who’s been made redundant or has been impacted by redundancy in some way e.g. you’re currently supporting a partner, friend or family member through the experience.
🥰 We know that redundancy has a massive impact on people and it’s important to know that YOU’RE NOT ALONE! This event is a chance to meet other people who have that shared experience and to support one another.
🤝 We run regular events and at almost everyone there is someone who’s been made redundant – it’s a huge challenge people are facing right now, so we wanted to do something to support our community.
🍀 You’re welcome to come to this event with someone if you’d like to, but the vast majority of people come to our events by themselves so you’ll be in excellent company if you do.
🥂 Jo, our host, will be there to greet you and both alcoholic and non alcoholic options will be available for you to purchase at the event on arrival.
🎴 We’ll have some question cards out when you first arrive to help you skip the small talk and get conversation flowing.
📝 Next up, there’s team activities to help you get to know everyone better! There will be the option to take part in a quiz but if you prefer to just keep chatting, that’s absolutely fine of course.
🎲 We’ll also have a selection of board and card games for you to play. You can move round different tables to try as many as you like and get to know everyone there.
👕 Dress code: whatever makes you feel most comfortable and confident!
