🗓️ Wine & Wallop (M20 6UR) – Thursday 26th September, 7.30pm
Hosted in Wine & Wallop’s beautiful function room, this event is designed to help you find contacts and collaborations to grow your business. Here’s what to expect on the night:
- 7.30pm: free flow networking to settle into the space and get to know everyone
- 8.00pm: guided goal setting activity so you have an action plan to take away with you
- 8.30pm: 3 minutes for each attendee to share key details about your business**
- 9.30pm: free flow networking to chat with those you can help / have something to offer
** It is entirely optional if you choose to speak at the event! We recommend it, as it means people know more about what you offer and are better able to support you with your business.
If you’d like to speak but this is something that makes you a little nervous then please do get in touch beforehand at @burton_road or burton.road.network@gmail.com and we’ll offer you the option to go first so you can ‘get it out of the way’ and relax.
Speaking slot
Here’s what we’d encourage you to include in your (optional!) speaking slot:
- brief overview of what your business offers
- the goal you’ve just set yourself in the guided activity
- what you have to offer others
- anything you need help with in your business at the moment
- the more specific you can be the better!
We try to keep these networking events relaxed and informal! We take our businesses seriously, but these are spaces to connect with fellow entrepreneurs and find a support network to help our businesses grow.

🎫 We are not able to refund tickets the seven days leading up to the event; but will try to do so prior to this. If you contact us within 48 hours of the event, we will offer you the option to transfer the ticket to another event.
